equality for all.

I am happy that Obama won! whoot. May the force be with him.

Yet, I am saddened that Prop 8 passed.
Children learn more ridiculous things than gay marriage (which I feel is in no way threatening to their own lifestyle). Mind you, they already play with video games featuring guns, and bows and arrows. shoot when I was in 3rd grade we killed buffalo with guns in Oregon Trail. SHOOT, i learned the bad word song AND i knew what Playboy was thanks to the ridiculous friends at my elementary school. ALL IN 3rd grade.

Yes, this is our world. By all means, you can't protect children from everything. Mind you, you give them access to the internet, they are going to see advertisements for things anyway.

Whatever the case, I am saddened because when 8 passed, we denied same sex marriage. Equality for All- for all people.

Honesty I was looking online and... apparently some people believe that
(Mind you, yes I go to church, yes I was baptized Catholic, and I attend a variety of Christian/Catholic services)

Homosexuality is a sin..

I Corinthians 6:9 "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals, ..."

but there is hope for you...

(and i roll my eyes)

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them" (Leviticus 20:13).

can't we just let them marry without religious .. entitlement? You know, separation between church and state. Just sign a paper and bam! and just say hey... let them have a beautiful wedding in a beautiful church. I mean.. here's the $$$, anyway. *sigh*

ONE DAY, you will have a daughter or son who will one day decide they will fall in love with someone of the same sex, and you will realize that they will shatter if they will not be able to have the wedding of their dreams. They will not be able to walk down the aisle in a beautiful church, like you did, with your husband or wife, and have it legally bounded for years to come.

shame on you.

I'd rather let sins run rampant- are we not already lazy? proud? envious? angry? greedy? What is the true meaning of marriage when many people divorce? Is that not a sin?

Thank You, Him, whoever You are, big black Mama in the heavenly life-giving sky for cultivating in me a mixture of beliefs from a variety of cultures, origins, backgrounds, theories and people.

Never follow, never lead, always learn, discover, question, and walk side by side.

Let those who love validate their love.
Till another vote.

ads

Picture 1

it's so ironic how both "graphic designer" & "web designer" in the ad above i found are reminiscent of the cartoon icon i created of myself three years ago (below). Oh the silly ads that graffiti our digital walls.

What do you like the most about your grandparents?

Inang: She tried to get me to smoke her fatty cigars when I was in 3rd grade, while watching lawrence welk & the six million dollar man. She taught me how to play a mean solitaire.

Amang: He ate live grasshoppers, and grew the freshest calamansi in the hood.

Lola: She always got her hair did with the other grannies on the block & picked me up from the bus with an umbrella on a sunny day.

Lolo: I heard he was pretty legit. Even his closets were so fresh and so clean that every hanger was lined up properly.

love and ingat sa inyong lahat.
